How Homeopathy Works : Understanding the Vital Force and Principles of Cure Homeopathy is a natural healing protocol that believes that diseases are dynamic, not material. The material organism functions solely by means of the immaterial wesen – the life force – known as the vital force.  In a diseased state, this vital force is deranged and can only be cured when the natural disease is annihilated by a stronger similar artificial disease, that disappears after it has run its course. To understand how homeopathy cures, it is vital to understand the cause and nature of disease and principles of cure. Natural vs Artificial Disease Natural disease is a morbid, dynamical mistunement of our vital force that keeps us in a healthy state. The power of natural diseases to make us sick is NOT ABSOLUTE. It depends on our susceptibility and on our exposure to them. An organism becomes sick only when it is just exactly and sufficiently disposed and assailed by the cause of disease that is present. That explains why the same heat wave, deep freeze, thunderstorm or infections, DO NOT sicken all the people in identical way. Some are affected more, some less, some in only acute pathologies, and others with chronic symptoms. However, the power of medicine, as an artificial disease, to affect the health of every human being is absolute and unconditional. A medicine’s effects will be perceptible if the dose is large enough. Every true medicine always restores and every true “poison” always annihilates the vital force – on every living human being. Medicinal energies, therefore, affect health unconditionally, whereas natural diseases only affect health under certain conditions. The Theory of Cure To be completely cured of the disease, the natural disease – which affects the organism conditionally, must be overpowered by a similar artificial disease, that acts over the organism unconditionally. The artificial disease rendered by the medicine, is unconditional and absolute, therefore carries stronger ability to alter the derangement of the vital force, than the natural disease, which is conditional and thrives only in optimal condition. As the artificial disease aka homeopathic remedy, arrives on the scene, with similar pathology, the natural disease recedes, as the conditions for it to thrive become sub-optimal – and cure takes place. As the reemdy was administered in minimal dose, the artificial disease soon runs over its course and disappears, leaving behind a healthy individual. Disease vs Cure This highlights a very important correlation between similarity of diseases and cure. If two dissimilar diseases co-exist in the organism, and the older disease is stronger, it will keep the newer and weaker disease at bay. If the newer disease is stronger, it will suspend the older disease, only to reappear, once the newer, dissimilar, and weaker disease wanes off. This explains relapse of chronic afflictions which do not get cured by intermittent interventions, as the latter suspend the former, but can never completely cure it. However, if two similar diseases co-exist in the organism, then they can neither suspend each other, nor fend off, or create a complicated disease combo (as was the case in dissimilar diseases).
